Our craft beer takes a little bit longer to brew than others. Selecting the finest ingredients and handcrafting the traditional process demands patience. But 34 years? That’s how long we’ve been making our full flavoured beers, improving and perfecting them year after year. It makes us the oldest independent brewery in Ireland and those who drink our beer agree it’s been time well spent.
Our aim is uncomplicated: inspire people to taste and appreciate craft beer and to enjoy good company while doing so.
Go on then.
All of our beers are available on draught at different times of the year. Keep an eye out below and we will let you know what’s available and when.Browse The Beers
Clean Tasting Pale Beer
A clear golden ale with floral and buttery aroma taste, this beer has light soft malts with soft light honey and buttery notes. Distinct lager hops give a freshness and a light bitterness which is balanced by light sweetness. A smooth drinking pale ale that is better than average and is complex in flavour.
Irish Red Ale
A bright, clear amber brown beer with a sweet malty aroma. Flavour is brown sugar molasses with a hint of whiskey, some burnt caramel and toffee chocolate.
Bitter Premium Pale Ale
Pours a clear golden color with white head. Caramel malt, some citrus, and a little biscuit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little flowery hop note.
Belfast Bap Wheat Beer
Coriander and pepper on the nose, clear orange blonde beer with thin white head, sweet with a peppery ginger finish. Fantastic!
Blackish beer with a strong light brown head. The aroma is lightly roasted, and the flavour is strongly bitter and roasted with an oaty smoothness. Overall, a lovely roasted and bitter stout.
Big, bold flavours from the malt, a distinctive hop character and good level of bitterness. Hilden has become known for beautifully balanced beers and this is no exception.
Medium Bodied Hoppy Ale
A amber ale with light biscuit and hop aroma. Taste is sweet malt biscuit base with notes of orange peel and lemon. Hops provide a sharp counter balance overall slightly sweet with a moderate bitter finish. A very pleasant bitter.
